Train The Way You Play The Game!
Soccer players can cover anywhere from 6 to 8 miles per game. These movements not only include submaximal aerobic work but also sprinting and jumping. On average a soccer player will engage in 250 intense anaerobic actions per game. SPEED is essential for success because it determines whether a playing can gain possession of the ball, score a goal, or defend properly.
Soccer movements are triggered by the action evolving around each player; therefore, game speed must be applied in relation to the requirements of the game at any given time. Soccer requires each player to make either an anticipatory response or a reactive response. If these responses are not practiced and developed, the player will always risk being slow to respond to the game and therefore unable to maximize his or her potential.
Soccer players, particularly females, have a high risk of ACL injury. Speed, Agility, and Quickness training may ameliorate this risk. As a soccer player, you have the unique responsibility of maintaining both aerobic fitness as well as anaerobic power. Come join my program to maximize your potential.
