Eagle FC Force 2012 U-16 Girls EPYSA Indoor State Cup Champions
Congratulations to Eagle FC Force Black for winning Indoor State Cup. This year the team was split into even two groups to play cup – Eagle FC Force Black and Eagle FC Force White. Both groups played extremely well with a combined record of 7 wins and 1 loss, each team allowing only one goal for the tournament. Unfortunately, only one team was able to advance to the final. Well done Eagle FC Force Black!

The team is coached and trained by Steve Snyder and assisted by Darlene Snyder and Gary Hoke.

HMMS SPIRIT U-10 GIRLS WIN HOLIDAY INDOOR TOURNAMENT!
HMMS Spirit U-10 girls participated in the Holiday Indoor Tournament at LANCO Fieldhouse on Dec. 28, 2011 and won the tournament after defeating teams from CASA, Hershey and York. The girls played well during their first competitive action indoors this season. Congratulations!!!

HMMS SPIRIT WINS U-10 CPYSL PREMIER DIVISION
HMMS Spirit won the premier division of CPYSL this Fall. The team went undeafeated with 6 wins and 2 ties to claim the top spot out of 7 teams. The girls scored 27 goals and gave up only 7 in 8 games. The team improved with each game and by the end of the season were playing great soccer together. Pictured is the team after the final game when they beat LDC 4-2 to win the title.

U10 HMMS-UNITED WIN Penn Legacy Hempfield Classic
Congratulations to the U10 boys HMMS-UNITED upon finishing their fall season
with 16 wins 2 draws and 2 losses! Along the way they went undefeated in
the CPYSL Premier Division, were Champions of the PA Classics Keystone Cup,
and won the Penn Legacy Hempfield Classic, November 19 and 20, by defeating
Lehigh Valley United in the final game.

HMMS Eagle FC Thunder repeat as Bethesda Tournament Champions
The HMMS Eagle FC Thunder U11 girls’ team continued their winning ways at the Bethesda Thanksgiving Tournament. The girls posted two 2-1 wins on Saturday against Bethesda Academy Blue and the Premier Strikers to qualify for the final on the first day. It was a hard fought final against the Loudoun 00 Red which ended in a 0-0 tie after regulation time and two overtime periods so it had to be decided by penalty kicks. The first four Thunder shooters scored and two goal keeper saves gave the Thunder the victory. The girls have now won their division at Bethesda two years in a row… Chesapeake last year and Potomac this year. Congratulations Thunder!!!

Eagle FC Thunder U11 Girls Win Dillsburg Dual Shoot-out
The Eagle FC Thunder U11 girls’ team spent the Columbus Day weekend winning the championship at the Dillsburg Dual Shoot-out… and they did it in the U12(8v8) bracket. The girls fought through the preliminary round against PVYA Sparta (1-0), Garden Spot Spartans (1-1), and Dallastown Blue Devils (4-0) which placed them as the 3rd seed in the top division. They beat the PMSC Comets (4-0) and the PVYA Sparta (2-1 in a shootout) to reach the semi-finals. They dominated their final two opponents, Westminster Wolves (4-1) and Strasburg FC (3-0) to win the U12 Division 1 title.

HMMS SPIRIT U-10 GIRLS REPEAT AS DILLSBURG DUAL SHOOTOUT CHAMPIONS
The HMMS Spirit who won the first division of the Dillsburg Dual Shootout for the second straight year. The girls scored 15 goals and gave up only 3 over the course of the Columbus Day weekend tournament. They beat 6 different teams on their way to defending their title. Congratulations on being back-to-back champions!

HMMS Imapct U-9 Girls Dillsburg Shootout Champions
Congratulations to the HMMS Impact U9 Girls, they are off to a good start to their first season together by finishing as a Finalist at the Keystone Cup in September and on Columbus Day Weekend winning the Division 1 bracket at the Dillsburg Shootout. The Impact won all their preliminary round games and marched through the top division bracketed games in to the finals versus CASA. The final was a very close game with CASA going up by one early, forcing the Impact to come back to win in the last minute 2-1. The Impact never gave up and worked hard for the victory. Congratulations Impact! and thank you very much to Chris Shelkirk and Mike Raich for stepping up and coaching the girls for the weekend. Much appreciated.

HMMS-EAGLE FC ’00 TITANS U11 Boys YMS Columbus Cup Champions!!!
Congratulations to the U11 HMMS-EAGLE FC ’00 TITANS who won the Elite Division of the YMS Columbus Cup, October 8-9, 2011.
The Titans defeated PA Rush Nike 6-1 and YMS Wolves 2-0 on Saturday.
On Sunday the Titans played Brentwood Arsenal in the Semifinals and defeated them 3-1 and went on to the Finals to play Upper Makefield Newtown Patriots and won 7-1

U13 Girls HMMS Eagle FC United Win The 2011 West Chester Summer Classic In A True Classic..
The girls started off the 2011 season with a Tournament Victory! It was a tough road to the finals in this Classic. The FC Squad had 2 players taken off the field by an ambulance over the August 6th & 7th weekend. Both girls are recovering well and hope to join back up with the team soon. The final match was played against the home team, West Chester United Predators '98. It was a tight match that finished with a 0–0 tie at the end of regulation. The score remained 0-0 after a 10 minute Golden Goal Overtime. FIFA penalty kicks were taken to determine the winner. It took 9 shooters per side to determine who would to be the Tournament Champions. Congratulations to the team for a hard fought title!!

HMMS Gladiators U9 Boys WIN Gettysburg Battlefield Blast
Congratulations to the HMMS Gladiators U9 Boys, they are off to a good start to their first season together by winning the Division 1 bracket at the Gettysburg Battlefield Blast August 27, 2011!With Hurricane Irene lurking, the tournament was condensed into one day. Gladiators won all their bracket games and headed to the finals against an equally impressive Dillsburg team who won their own respective bracket. Gladiators seized the opportunity with awesome team play and a testament to their fitness by taking 1st place.Congratulations Gladiators!

HMMS Player in Portland, Oregon at U-14 National ID Camp
Congratulations to Kayla Hughes, a member of the HMMS Eagle FC Force, for her selection to U.S. Soccer’s Under-14 Girls’ National Identification Camp. Her selection identifies her as one of the top players in her age group, only 72 players throughout the nation and only 2 players from Pennsylvania were invited. She will now have the opportunity to work with members of the U.S. Soccer coaching staff and compete against other high level players. This camp serves as an introduction to the great tradition and level of excellence found in the US Women’s National Team Program. Many of the current elite players, like Abby Wambach, Rachel Buehler and Heather O’Reilly, developed their game by playing with the Youth National Teams. Congratulations Kayla on your selection!
U11 Boys Eagle FC Titans Win West Chester Kickoff Classic
Congratulations to the U11 Boys Eagle FC Titans, winners of the Championship Bracket at the West Chester Kickoff Classic August 6-7, 2011!
To achieve their victory, the Titans tied the West Chester Predators and Lower Merion Quick Boys, and defeated Jersey Shore Boca and City Islanders Academy.

The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup is designed for those teams seeking additional challenges to play against teams of similar abilities for a national title. The cup provides a progressive, competitive experience to teams that might not otherwise get the opportunity to participate in a series of unique experiences highlighting competition, camaraderie and community from the state to regional to national levels of US Youth Soccer.
Regional qualifiers, known as US Youth Soccer Regional Presidents Cup events, will determine the teams competing in the National President Cup and feature boys and girls teams in the Under-14 through Under-17 age groups.

Eagles FC United (EPA) notched a win in the U-16 Boys bracket with a 2-0 victory over Imo’s (MO). Cameron Hoffman scored for Eagles FC in the 37th minute and Alec Kunzweiler sealed the victory on a 78th-minute strike as Imo was pushing for an equalizer.

Holsten Valley FC 95 (TN) and Eagles FC United (EPA) played to determine Club America’s opponent in the final. Eagles FC was victorious thanks to goals by Peter Kemery, Cameron Hoffman and Harley Weigle. Austin Waddell scored the lone goal for Holsten Valley in the 3-1 loss.

The year 2011 was a fantastic year for HMMS soccer!! In 2011 many of our teams accomplished unbelievable results. Many times most of us are way too focused at what is happening next week and we forget to look at where we have been and what we have done. The HMMS Board would like everyone to recognize the great team accomplishments of 2011. None of these results could have been possible without a lot of hard work, dedication and sacrifice. Thank you Players, Parents, Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Trainers and Team Managers!! What a great year, what a great list of accomplishments!! CONGRATULATIONS to the HMMS-EAGLE FC '94 UNITED!
May 28-30, 2011, the U16 Boys HMMS-EAGLE FC ’94 UNITED team won the President’s Cup Regional Championship held in Albany, NY. They beat teams from Maryland, Virginia and Massachusetts (5 games in total, 4 wins & 1 tie) to win the Regional Presidents Cup. In the championship game, the team beat Freedom SC Spirit from Sykesville, MD 3-1. This now qualifies the team to play in the President’s Cup National Championship to be held in Des Moines, IA July 7 - 10.
