Eagle FC Obtained Official Uniform Sponsor

The G.B Stuart Charitable Foundation is very pleased to have an opportunity to support the Eagle FC Boys and Girls Programs at HMMS. As we all know, there are many costs associated with participating at the highest levels of youth soccer and we recognize the financial burden these costs can place on families. Especially during these difficult economic times, It is our pleasure to provide the funds to cover the costs of next year’s "Uniform Package" for all of the HMMS Eagle FC players and teams. Each child playing on a team in the FC Program will receive the following items free of charge as part of their package:

  • A Red Home Jersey
  • An Away White Jersey
  • A Pair of Red Home Shorts
  • A Pair of Black Away Shorts
  • A Pair of Red Home Socks
  • A Pair of Away Black Socks
  • Warm-up Pant,  Black, with number
  • Warm-up Jacket,  Red, with number
  • A Gray Training Jersey
  • A Red Bag with their number on it

In addition, each team will also receive two goalie shirts.

It is our hope that providing these funds will help to ensure that each child who wishes to try their luck at the FC level will have that opportunity.  Have a great Season!!

Eagle FC Goal Keeper Training

HMMS has been looking for ways to continually enhance the Eagle FC Soccer program.  One of the methods under development is to offer training targeted at the specific and focused needs of our players.  This training would be offered over and above the training provided by their existing teams.  These training topics include those associated with goalkeepers (GK), strikers, defenders and performance.  We will be continuing to look to partner with those individuals and corporations that can help provide and fund these
types of offerings. The first of these offerings involves our GK.  Starting Friday April 3rd 5:00-7:00 on Hampden Park Field #3 our Eagle FC Program will offer on-going GK training.  Our intent and concept is that we are looking for those GK who desire to be trained weekly and throughout the entire year.  They desire to better themselves as GK and see the position as something they desire to play.  We have found two GK trainers and they will train all of our Gks, boys and girls, within the same weekly session.

This GK training has not found a sponsor so an on-going fee is required. That fee is $60 per month.  It is our hope and intent that the GK on your team does not have to play for field training per month and GK training per month.  It is our opinion, that is the major reason why GKs within any club do not get the required training.  It is suggested that the cost of this training be covered for the GK by one of two methods.  Suggested method one, the existing team trainer who trains your field players (usually not your GK) waives his training fee so that the GK does not have to pay for both field training and GK training. Suggested method two, the team equally divides the cost per month amongst all players on the team ($60/16=$3.75 per player).  As a team manager and or coach it is our hope you can find a way to get your primary GK involved with this training.

If your team has a GK or two that are interested in committing to GK training weekly and throughout the entire year, please provide me with that player’s name and how to contact them (email and phone).
